Why is he called Pooh if his name is Winnie? Think about it…
He is Winnie the Pooh bear. Pooh isn’t his last name. It’s what he is. Imagine if you called me Rachel the human being, but then refered to me as just “human”. I suppose in a world where there is only one of every creature it makes sense*. But still, why not Winnie?
*as a side note, why is there only one of every creature in the Hundred Acre Wood? (with the obvious exception of kangaroos and bees, which seem to be able to mate and reproduce normally.)
